The Go For Broke enamel pin replicates the official emblem for the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. It was designed by Technical Sergeant Mitchie M. Miyamoto after an original logo issued by the War Department was rejected by the men of the 442nd.

The Go For Broke logo symbolizes freedom and liberty and was proudly worn by over 18,000 Japanese American soldiers during World War II.
