The Appaloosa is an American breed of horse famed for its colourful spotted coat. Appaloosas are used for riding and racing and are often featured in Western movies and TV series.

Bay is the most common horse colour and in the overo pattern, the white colour doesn’t cross the back between the neck and the croup. Appaloosas can range in size from 430 to 570 kg and heights from 14 to 16 hands.
